“To please God is a wonderful motivator toward that which is lovely and good.”  William Wilberforce

What a blessed day today! Gail Gardner tells the story: “This day, at 515 Main Street, marked our first day of labor for the Lord.  Pete Cannavino, from Leominster
Assembly of God, navigated our team through the plans and showed us what walls to take down, what rugs to pull up and where to put the ceiling tiles.  Dan Beauregard, who attends Faith Evangelical Free Church in Acton, and is a board member and our trusted computer technician, donned gloves and pitched in.  We had quite a showing from First Baptist Church of Leominster.  Dave S. Bradley, his sons Quinn and Levi, Fernando Lemus, Kevin Seymour and his dad, Lloyd Seymour, put in a lot of sweat equity.  Dave F. Bradley, father of Dave S., attends Hope Fellowship in New Ipswich, NH and he joined the team in a powerful way.  And another Dave joined us, Dave Haschig, a member of our board and member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Fitchburg.  He was not afraid to get his hands dirty either. Our final Dave, Dave Bodanza, our president, and also a member of First Baptist Church of Leominster, came in his working clothes, pitched in and also documented the day with photographs and video as we prepare a tour for our October Banquet.  Pat Slattery, our architect, was on hand in the morning to answer questions and Siomara and John Nadreau donated coffee and donuts.

Brenda Bodanza fed us. Sandwiches, watermelon, and plenty of water.  She was helped by her daughters, Megan and Marissa, and their friend Naomi DePina.
Michael Bodanza joined us and stayed with us the rest of the day.  I worked with Michael sweeping up plaster and removing the flooring in the baby boutique.  We finished clean up around 3:30 PM, just in time to receive a treat from Megan Bodanza who brought us fresh baked chocolate chip cookies still warm from the oven.

I think that covers everyone.  What a team and what a day!”

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
