National Sanctity of Human Life Sunday
Will your church help us help them on January 18?
 Dear Friend,

May God bless you and keep you this New Year! As we begin 2009, the future appears so uncertain. For many people, thoughts of the future only give them anxiety. Uncertainty makes them insecure and causes them to fear. Yet, the Christian need not and should not be anxious about the future. To paraphrase the old song, we know who holds the future and we know who holds our hand! Jesus said: "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." Matthew 10:29-31.
We are asking every Christian church in the Montachusett region which supports life to have a second offering during their Sunday, January 18, 2009, service to benefit Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center of North Central Massachusetts. Pastors and church leaders, please let me know by a quick e-mail if we can count on your church. If you prefer, you may also contact Gail Gardner at the office at 978-342-4244.
Thank you so very, very much!
Grace and peace to you,
David P.Bodanza, Esq.
Care Net announces its new "Friends of Care Net Fitchburg" website!
Now you can make contributions securely online with our new Donors and Volunteers website. While the site is still partially under construction, please stop by. We plan to post news, video, photographs and ways you can become involved in the ministry on the site in the future. While our main site will maintain its client focus, the new site will be specifically for our supporters.

What is National Sanctity of Human Life Sunday?
In 1983, the Christian Action Council Education and Ministries Fund, which is today known as Care Net, asked President Ronald Reagan to create a special day to focus on the intrinsic value of human life and the fundamental right to life, as recognized by the American Founding Fathers.

In 1983, President Reagan issued a proclamation establishing a National Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. Since 1983, the proclamation has also been repeated by Presidents George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush.

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is held on the Sunday in January that falls closest to the day on which the Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions were handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court on January 22, 1973. This  year it is scheduled for Sunday, January 18, 2009.
 Sin leads to absurdity...
"Right now killing an unborn child with the consent of the mother is legal in all 50 states-but in at least 35 states it is murder if a father or anyone else kills that child without the mother's consent. In other words, our law is based on the idea that unborn children do not objectively have value unless they are recognized as children by their mothers. Do we really believe that?" ----Marvin Olasky
Investing in life...the returns are out of this world!
"No one could make a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little."
