An e-mail newsletter
from Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center of
North Central Massachusetts, Inc.
Dear Friend,
I hope this newsletter finds you and your family enjoying some rest and recreation this summer. The hot days will soon be a fond memory when we are shoveling our driveways this winter! As the nations jitter with the reality of their mounting debts, credit ratings and the possibility of global depression, we know that God is supreme in all things and sovereign over the nations. He is ruling the world as He sees fit. We have no need to become worried.

When people become insecure in their securities, there is usually a greater opportunity to gain a hearing for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We at Care Net have turned our attention from Wall Street to Main Street, right here in downtown Fitchburg. We are very pleased to inform you that, after months of filings, revisions and crossing every "T" and dotting every "I", we have acquired approval from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health of our plans to build a new clinic at 515 Main Street! Today, we have obtained a building permit from the City of Fitchburg and are ready to "break ground!"

It is truly one of God's great blessings to work together with people who are sincerely concerned and compassionate about those who are "without hope and without God in the world." People like you! The difference in our perspective comes via a change of heart and mind effected by God's grace, since we are naturally inclined to be concerned about ourselves only.

We cannot ignore women in the crisis of unplanned pregnancies in the Montachusett region. People like you and the entire staff of Care Net have determined we cannot turn them away. We must help. Our goal is to love people back to life again.

Your generosity does just that. Together by the grace of God, we have worked a co-laborers in this local mission field for the past 35 years. You and your church are deeply appreciated. We are so grateful that you have recognized the need and answered the call. Babies have been spared and souls have been saved!

May God bless you, keep you and give you peace,
David P. Bodanza, Esq.

Life on Main Street!
515 Main Street
515 Main Street

As our Burbank Hospital professional building was being sold, we knew we had to relocate. But where? As we looked at several locations, we knew that a good location at a reasonable cost is crucial for this ministry. After much searching and much prayer, we unanimously concluded that 515 Main Street in Fitchburg is the place to be. Thanks be to God, we signed a fair and reasonable lease for the location earlier this year. Since then, we diligently pursued the complex process of relocating this licensed medical clinic to downtown Fitchburg. The three P's are key in the government permitting process: Precision, Perseverance and Patience.  But it is really a fourth P that is over all: Providence, God's providence! We are so happy about the ministry opportunities that are now before us as life comes to Main Street.
A Concert of Construction is here...Calling All Trades!

Calling all trades... If you have skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, painting, or you are able and willing to do manual labor, WE NEED YOU NOW, MORE THAN EVER. We are in the process of fitting up 515 Main Street. We have approved plans prepared by a registered architect, Patrick Slattery of Lunenburg. We have a licensed carpenter, electrician, plumber and HVAC contractor who are heading up their respective trades. But WE NEED YOU TOO. We have a deadline that we can only meet with a "concert of construction." Now with the word "concert" we are not referring to a musical performance. Playing a violin will not fitup the clinic! We are using the word "concert" here to refer to the "working together in a common plan." Many hands make light work! If you can help us in any way, please send an e-mail to David Bodanza: [email protected]

Save the Date for the Annual Banquet . . . October 20, 2011
Our Ninth Annual Fundraising Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Four Points by Sheraton in LeominsterSheraton. We hope that you will plan to attend! Our banquet was a wonderful success last year and we are hoping for the same this year. It is an evening of fellowship and good food with the opportunity to hear what is happening at Care Net and how you can be a part of what our Lord is doing through His people here. It is also a time to catch up with others in the Christian community that you have not seen in awhile.

The Annual Banquet is made possible by very generous and helpful local people, churches and businesses we call "Table Sponsors" and "Table Hosts." A Table Sponsor donates $500 to sponsor one table. That donation underwrites the cost and expenses of the banquet for the people at the table. A Table Host, who is often the same person, business or church as the Table Sponsor, will arrange for that table to be filled with people who care about the mission and are open to donating to Care Net. Our Table Sponsors and Table Hosts are very much appreciated. If you or your business could help in this way, please let us know. Give us a call or send me an e-mail. If your church is not yet involved in this way, perhaps you could be the spark that kindles the fire with your pastor or missions' committee !

Some Words to Ponder...

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Jesus, recorded in Mark 10:14
"Just because you have a right to do something doesn't mean that it is the right thing to do." Anonymous

"But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:15
"It is not my ability, but my response to God's ability, that counts." Corrie ten Boom

"A dog bites when his master is attacked. I would be a coward if I saw that God's truth is attacked and yet would remain silent, without giving any sound." John Calvin

"No human actions were ever intended by the Maker of men to be guided by the balances of expediency, but by balances of justice."  John Ruskin

"Between the great things we cannot do and the little things we will not do, the danger is we will do nothing." H.G. Weaver

The Lord has promised help. He has said, "Fear not--for I am with you; be not dismayed--for I am your God! I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness!" ... Oh, precious promise, of a good and gracious God! It extends to all times, it embraces all circumstances, it belongs to all believers, and it ensures us triumph over all our foes! Yes, the strength of Jesus has been perfected in our weakness! We have found His grace to be sufficient for us; and to the praise of His glorious grace, in reference to all our trials, troubles, and conflicts--we can truly say, "The Lord helped me!" Oh, beloved, it is an unspeakable mercy to have God for our helper! James Smith

May God bless us all as we stand together for Him in this generation...
