Spring Greetings
We thought it would never arrive, but it has. What a joy it is for me to look out my window and see my cherry tree in full blossom. Another joy that happens in the spring is the celebration of Mother's Day.  That's what we at the center are all about.  We live at a time in history when abortion is legal.  We are saddened by this reality because so many women feel this is the answer to an unwanted pregnancy.  Mother Teresa had this to say about abortion, "The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between."
I was just reading an article on LifeNews posted by Shawn Carney, one of the leaders in the national "40 days for Life" campaign that recently ended.  He said that they are aware of 554 babies spared from abortion over the forty days of the campaign.  We have our own stories and God is using us to save babies.  This is our story:

Once upon a time there was a health crisis in our North Central Massachusetts community.  Every month children would die in their mother's womb for the sake of convenience and women were being physically and emotionally harmed.  In 1976 a group of people came together and formed the Family Life Center.  Because of that beginning, the lives of children were being saved every month.  In 2004 the Family Life Center became affiliated with CareNet and changed its name to CareNet PRC of North Central MA.  Because of that we were able to receive helpful organization skills and grow.  In 2006 we received a grant from Focus on the Family for an ultrasound machine.  Because of that we were able to apply to the DPH and became a medical clinic.  Women are now able to see pictures of their baby in the womb.  We have been a voice for life for 37 years.

2013 Bottle Drive Campaign is underway

Imagine the joy we feel at the center when we see changed hearts. Being able to do an ultrasound and show our client, "it's a baby" has been a blessing. Being able to do all we do comes with a cost. We are a licensed medical clinic. Our funding comes from churches, individuals, and organizations. Mother's Day inaugurates our "Baby Bottle Fundraiser". We deliver baby bottles to area churches on Mother's Day. These are the churches involved:
