April is a month of showers and we at the center could use a few. Our baby boutique shelves are becoming bare. One of the special things we do at CareNet in Fitchburg is offer new clothes to our clients as they attend our Pregnancy, Child Birth Ed and Parenting classes. This is a way for them to earn while they learn. It is a blessing to be able to tell them that they earn credit in the form of “Baby Bucks” that they can use in the boutique. We depend on our churches to help us by having a “baby shower” and collecting items.
Can you help us as we help the men and women who come to our center? We offer compassion, care and counsel to those in need and an extra bonus, items in our baby boutique. This is a wonderful way for us to show the love of Christ as we tell them that the items are donated by churches in the area.
What we need!
- Clothes size birth to three years
- for boys and girls
- Digital thermometers for babies
- Nail clippers for babies
- Toys
- Shampoo
- Baby wipes
Hebrews 13:16 tells us, “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” (ESV)
