On May 18th, Mark Conrad, facilitator of the Northeast Pregnancy Resource Center Coalition www.theneprcc.org  opened our regional training with a quote from Mother Teresa, “God didn’t call me to be successful, He called me to be faithful.”  Amy Scheuring, Executive Director of the Women’s Choice Network out of Pittsburgh, PA traveled to MA to bring us a message and help us to be better equipped for changes that God may have in store for us.  Our mission statement is:  “We are a non-profit Christian ministry offering life-affirming alternatives and compassionate counsel to those who face pregnancy and abortion related issues.”    We have faithfully served North Central MA for 40 years.  All our services are free and provided to all regardless of race, creed or national origin.  We are here to help.  We understand that making a decision when facing an unplanned pregnancy can be difficult.  We want our clients to be educated on abortion procedures and risks.  We want them to know about adoption.  We want to help them with childbirth and parenting.  We strongly believe in equipping those who carry to term.  Part of being equipped is to always be prepared for change.  Amy Scheuring walked us through different ways of looking at change.  She began with the first stage, turning discontent into dreams and moved to turning dreams into vision.  From there we went to ways of turning vision into change and finally turning change into outcomes.  Change is inevitable.  Our June board meeting will bring us new members and new officers.  Change is exciting.  We look forward to serving God and bringing new dreams and vision to our mission.
