Baby Show for Alisha and her baby girl

This basket was a gift from Care Net Fitchburg to new Mom Alisha and her precious new baby girl. Showers from local churches and organizations allow us to reach out to new Moms in this way. Beneath the items you see are diapers and wipes.

There is a group of organizations that have participated in a Community Baby Shower in previous years. This was an outreach to women who are pregnant, as well as women who have small babies. The outreach was to local communities including Leominster, Fitchburg, Gardner and neighboring towns. Since the start of COVID the shower was put on hold, but now there is discussion to relaunch in the fall. If you think that you would like to volunteer and be a part of a relaunch of the Community Baby Shower please reach out to Wendy at [email protected]
